A 34 year old woman from Tavistock has been charged with three counts of making an agreement or arrangement to commit a sexual offence against a child under the age of 16.
TAVISTOCK - A 34 year old woman from Tavistock has been charged after an investigation into online child sexual exploitation.
Police did not release the woman's name. The charges include three counts of making an agreement or arrangement to commit a sexual offence against a child under the age of 16. The charges stem from an investigation by the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, assisted by Digital Forensics, along with members of the Oxford County OPP Detachment.
On Tuesday officers executed a search warrant at the woman's home in Tavistock and seized anything with a connection to the internet.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing on the 17th of June, 2020.
