You'll be able to drop off old batteries, electronic waste and metal waste at the Thamesford Arena on Saturday April 23rd.
THAMESFORD - Zorra Township is hosting a recycle day for a few things that don't go in your usual bins.
On April 23rd, at the Thamesford Arena, you are invited to bring waste that cannot be collected. Things like batteries, dishwasher's, sinks, dryers, electronic waste and metal waste can all be brought to the arena for dumping that day.
The recycle day will encourage residents not dump these things in normal dumps and all of the proceeds will be going to local community projects.
The event will run from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and curbside pick up is available by calling 519-520-9016.
