The Tavistock Braves suffered another loss last night in game 2 in the best of seven with the Glanbrook Rangers.
TAVISTOCK - The Tavistock Braves appear to be struggling in their Schmalz cup quarter-final quest.
It was pure domination on the ice by the Glanbrook Rangers, as they beat the Braves 8-1 last night. The win gives the Rangers a 2-0 lead in the best of seven series.
Braves General Manager Jordan says the calibre of play they are facing has intensified.
"They have quite a few highly skilled players, but they also like to work hard too, so we have to match that intensity with our own."
It was definitely a game the Braves would soon rather like to forget.
Zehr adds that despite the loss they are optimistic.
"It's definitely a game to put behind us, we still feel confident that if we play our game, good things will happen."
The Braves will get a short break to plan a home ice retaliation. Game 3 is in Tavistock on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
