The Mudmen will hit the Market Centre Theatre stage for a family-friendly show presented by McLeod Real Estate.
WOODSTOCK - They've appeared on Much Music, Coach's Corner, and played for Queen Elizabeth II on Parliament Hill, but now they're coming to Woodstock.
The Mudmen will hit the stage at the Market Centre Theatre on Friday April 19th.
They're also known as Canada's Celtic Rock Warriors, so band member Robby Campbell says you can expect some headbanging hits with bagpipes.
"A lot of times people have a pre-determined notion that they don't like the bagpipes. But we get people saying 'I don't like the bagpipes, but I like with you do' because we mix it in with instruments, the banjo, the guitar, this and that. So we made a home for ourselves."
The family-friendly show is presented by McLeod Real Estate. Bill McLeod says he actually met Campbell at Theatre Woodstock a while back.
"They're talking about coming to Woodstock and I thought it would be a great opportunity. You know in Woodstock you want to promote the community that you're in, so I thought let's make sure they're here and have a good time with it."
The show has a 7:30 p.m. start time and tickets cost $30 each. They can be purchased on the Theatre Woodstock website.
