The Glanbrook Rangers have dominated the series so far and now lead the series 3-0.
TAVISTOCK - The Tavistock Braves put in a solid effort in game #3 of the Schmalz quarter-final series but it wasn't enough, losing 3-0.
The Braves fell prey to the Glanbrook Rangers effective power play once again in Tavistock territory during yesterday's matinee.
Braves General Manager, Jordan Zehr says they aren't looking back, only forward.
"We gotta go there on Wednesday and put it all on the table. We have a key guy Matt Walsh coming back, after serving a couple game suspensions, and I think he can bring us some energy."
The loss puts the Braves in a do or die position heading into Game 4 Wednesday in Glanbrook, as of right now the Rangers lead the series 3-0.
Zehr says the team stepped up this game, narrowing the scoring, in an otherwise high scoring series and they do have some strategy going in to the next game.
"We just couldn't capitalize on any of our chances, credit to their goaltender, he played a solid game today, we just have to do better at getting traffic in front of him and make sure he isn't seeing every shot."
Both teams will have a few days off before the puck is back in play in Glanbrook for Game #4 Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., should Tavistock win, game #5 returns to Tavistock Friday at 7:30 p.m.
