Norm Foster's "The Ladies Foursome" will be coming to Thistle Theatre in Embro.
EMBRO - Thistle Theatre is bringing in a Norm Foster play to Embro.
The Ladies Foursome will be hitting the stage and Director, Doug Turvey says what the audience will see when they come to watch.
"It's about four ladies that are going out for a round of golf. Three of them have golfed together once a week for the past 14 years and the fourth one had passed away in an accident. So, it is the day after the funeral and one of the ladies that was at the funeral is joining them for a round of golf."
Turvey adds it is more about the conversation than the golf for the ladies, and he mentions it is a play for an audience of 14 plus. Producer, John Turvey talks about who is involved in putting on the show.
"So, we have four actors in the production. Then the rest of the cast and crew, it is about 20 people."
Shows begin on Friday and will continue on Saturday and Sunday. Shows will also take place on the 14th, 15th, and 16th. Tickets are $25 and are available online or by calling the box office.
