A special weather statement has been issued as wind gusts could reach 90 km/h late Thursday morning.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for most of Southwestern Ontario, including Oxford County.
They warn of the potential for severe wind gusts Thursday morning and afternoon. Winds could reach 50 km/h tomorrow morning. Winds are expected to shift southwest and could reach 90 km/h later tomorrow morning.
The gusts are strong enough to cause power outages and wind damage. Wind warnings could be issued.
