WOODSTOCK - A very popular holiday event is back in the City of Woodstock.
The Tour of Lights hosted by Woodstock Transit will be back for two days in December.
First, on the 10th, then again on the 17th, five buses will depart from the Woodstock Transit Terminal, located at 623 Dundas Street beginning at 6:00 p.m. and leaving every half hour until 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are on sale starting today and they can be purchased in person at Woodstock City Hall (hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.). Tickets are $3 per person, you have to buy them in advance, and there is a limit of six tickets per order due to the limited seats.
The proceeds of the event will be going to United Way Oxford, along with that people are being asked to donate a non-perishable food item that will be donated to the Salvation Army.
The tour will be approximitly 50 minutes, but you should allow an hour and 15 minutes from your departure time.
On the tour you will get to see some of the great lights on display around the city.
