A 37 year old man from Tillsonburg has been arrested after he allegedly sped away from police after getting caught shoplifting.
TILLSONBURG - A 37 year old man from Tillsonburg has been arrested after he allegedly sped away from police after getting caught shoplifting.
Perth County OPP were called on Saturday afternoon after a case of shoplifting in North Perth. When officers tried to speak with a suspect in the case, he fled the scene at a high rate of speed. Police were able to identify the man and found out he was from Tillsonburg.
They called the Oxford OPP to assist with the arrest and officers picked up Mark Moschuk who is facing the following charges.
- Theft Under $5000- Shoplifting
- Flight from peace officer
- 2 counts of Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
He is scheduled to appear for a Bail Hearing in the Ontario Court of Justice, Stratford on March 29, 2019 to answer the charges.
