A 56-year-old Tillsonburg man has been charged with impaired driving in his hometown.
TILLSONBURG - A Tillsonburg driver was charged after he was found impaired behind the wheel.
On Friday around 1:00 p.m., the Oxford OPP received a report of a possible impaired driver on Oxford Street.
After police located the vehicle and spoke with the driver, officers had reason to believe the driver was impaired by drugs. As a result, a 56-year-old Tillsonburg man was taken into custody for further testing and subsequently charged with operation while impaired.
He is scheduled to appear in court in Woodstock at a later date.
