Two motorcycles were stolen from separate addresses in Tillsonburg this weekend.
TILLSONBURG - The Oxford OPP is investigating the theft of two motorcycles from Tillsonburg.
Police were called to separate addresses this weekend after two separate incidences.
After arriving at an address on Maple Lane around 1:15 pm Saturday, they were told the owner met up with someone looking to buy a 1999, red and black, Honda CBR they posted online. The buyer asked to get on and then simply drove off.
Police were called to a second address on Fernwood Drive, where a 2011 grey and orange, Honda PC4 with riding gear was stolen. They're saying it was a break-in that occurred between 3:00 am and 7:00 am Sunday. After further investigation, they found evidence it was featured in the background of the initial bike's advertisement.
If you have any information on either theft, report it to the Oxford OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.oxfordcrimestoppers.com.
