A familiar face on Tillsonburg's political scene is looking to stick around for a few more years.
TILLSONBURG - A long time councillor is seeking another term in Tillsonburg.
Many of us know Chris Rosehart as the proud owner of Chrissy's Corner Store, which has been in business for about 40 years now.
Her success inspired her to enter politics back in the 90's.
"I've been very fortunate in that I am where I am and I thought it's time to give back to the people who have given to me and see what I can do for them."
She has served on multiple boards and committee's during her time on council; including the Cultural Advisory Committee, Trails Committee, Cemetery Committee and Tillsonburg Non-Profit Housing.
Rosehart has been happy to see the town grow throughout the years. If she's voted back in next month, she would like to bring more business to the area.
"We need a prosperous downtown to make businesses come here. I think overall we have done very well and whatever the people want in the next four years; I will work for them."
