Tomico says his campaign platform is all about transparency, accountability, and better communication.
TILLSONBURG - He has lived in Tillsonburg for 44 years and now he's running for Town Council.
Cedric Tomico is a well-known business owner and a father of two.
He says his campaign platform is all about transparency, accountability, and better communication.
"From a council perspective, better and more frequent communication with the public is super important. Just them knowing what is happening, what is going on, and having maybe a weekly update would just increase the trust that their council is running their town properly and in the direction it needs to go."
If he's elected, Tomico would also like to help open a nurse-practitioner-led walk-in clinic to help address the doctor shortage.
"It's a big issue in our town. A lot of people are lacking a doctor and we don't even have a solid Monday to Friday walk-in clinic. So that's one big thing I would set my sights on."
