You don't need to travel far to have a good time.
OXFORD COUNTY - School is out for summer and the phrase 'I'm bored' is probably going to be heard at some point over the next two months.
With this in mind, Oxford Tourism is reminding families there is lots going on in the County this summer for the whole family to enjoy. Tourism Specialist Meredith Maywood tells Heart FM there are activities happening every day and every weekend that people can go to. "From the festivals that a lot of people know in their own communities - they should be going out and checking out neighbouring communities as well. A great example is on the 4th of July at the Norwich Nostalgia Days, that would be a great opportunity to go out and see what is in that community; family fishing weekends, a folk festival in Ingersoll and tractor pulls happening throughout the summer."
Maywood says they have something for everyone in Oxford and you don't have to travel to have a great time this summer. Tourism Oxford also has tons of maps.
You can find a complete event listing on their web site TourismOxford.ca or try the events listing on the HeartFM page.
