You will not be able to buy legal cannabis in the Town of Ingersoll in the New Year.
INGERSOLL - You won't be able to buy legal marijuana in the Town of Ingersoll when the Province rolls out Cannabis retail stores.
Town council decided to prohibit cannabis retail stores in the municipality. They have also decided to advise the Province of their decision to opt out.
The Town will be able to change their mind in the future if they do eventually want to allow legal Cannabis retail stores in Ingersoll. Council voted to opt out in September and the new council confirmed that decision on December 10th.
Every Township in Ontario has until the end of January to decide if they want to allow Cannabis retail stores in their area.
