Close call for a female driver on the 401 this morning. Reports have come in to our newsroom of a trailer that has jackknifed on the eastbound lanes at Drumbo road. Oxford OPP say one woman driving a car struck the transport from behind just before 9 o'clock this morning. She lost control and swerved to the side of the road, but managed to escape unharmed. Police, EMS and Fire are on scene this hour (9:15am) Also bad road conditions are wreaking havoc on Dereham Line and Mt. Elgin Road where a two vehicle accident has occurred in that area. OPP advise roads are very slick this morning and visibility in areas is also an issue.
