Police stopped a vehicle for speeding on Hwy #401, however, officers learned that the 25 year old occupant of the vehicle was wanted on a Canada-Wide Immigration Warrant.
WOODSTOCK - The OPP Highway Safety Division have been busy lately, with an influx of stunt drivers on the roads. They made yet another traffic stop for speeding on Hwy #401 near Woodstock Thursday.
This traffic stop was not ordinary however, as a 25 year old occupant of the vehicle was wanted on a Canada-Wide Immigration Warrant, dating all the way back to 2016.
In collaboration with the Canada Border Services Agency, the accused was arrested and taken into Federal custody.
