A day of snowmobiling went horribly wrong for man from Zorra Township.
WOODSTOCK - Police say a 42 year old Zorra Township man lost his life after his snowmobile went in to a frigid lake near Muskoka.
EMS were called out to Hassard Lake around 12 p.m. on Sunday to assist. Authorities say Shawn McAllister was driving his vehicle on the open water of the lake when he fell through the water.
After McAllister was removed from the water he was pronounced deceased at the scene. A funeral is scheduled for Friday in Woodstock.
