Someone handed out weed gummies in the town of Wroxeter last night in Huron County. Police have shared a photo of the gummies that a Howick resident found in their kids candy stash from last night. The gummies were found in a small, smell-proof bag that were in a child's treat bag.

UPDATE: After further investigation, police have determined that the suspicious Halloween candy discovered in Huron County did not contain cannabis.
Huron OPP officers met with the person who distributed the candy yesterday and discovered that 25 similar bags were handed out to trick-or-treaters Sunday night.
Police are still encouraging all parents and guardians to inspect their child's Halloween candy.
