Woodstock Police are investigating two thefts from the Truck Stop on Mill Street.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police believe there is a connection between the theft of a Freightliner truck and a trailer in the Friendly City.
A 2007 white Freightliner with an Alberta marker was taken from the parking lot at the Truck Stop on Mill Street on Monday afternoon. The suspects left behind the empty flatbed trailer that was attached.
Then around 5:30 on Tuesday morning, a vehicle hauling a refrigerator trailer parked the trailer for the day at the same truck stop. They unhooked the trailer and left the area. When they returned the trailer was stolen.
It is described as being a 2007 white, 53 feet refrigerator trailer with a Chicago marker and it contained a full load of milk. The theft is valued at $20,615.
Police believe that the incidents are linked. There are no suspects at this time and the investigation is continuing.
