Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is currently self-isolating after testing positive for COVID-19.
OTTAWA - Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has tested positive for COVID-19.
He confirmed the news in a Twitter post this morning, adding he's self isolating and following public health guidelines.
He says he's feeling fine but only because he's vaccinated against the virus. Trudeau is also stressing the importance of the vaccine and is encouraging others to get the shot.
I’ve tested positive for COVID-19. I’ll be following public health guidelines and isolating. I feel okay, but that’s because I got my shots. So, if you haven’t, get vaccinated - and if you can, get boosted. Let’s protect our healthcare system, each other, and ourselves.
