All staff and students at Hickson Central PS, Woodland Heights PS and West Oaks French Immersion PS will shift to online learning starting today and they're scheduled to be back in the classroom on January 3rd.
HICKSON/LONDON - The Thames Valley District School Board has decided to temporarily close Hickson Central Public School ahead of the winter break.
Officials say recent confirmed and suspected cases of COVID-19 have created operational challenges for the school. The school board is currently reporting two active cases within the school community.
All staff and students will shift to online learning starting today and they're scheduled to be back in the classroom on January 3rd, 2022.
The TVDSB has also decided to temporarily close two schools in London due to their COVID situations, Woodland Heights Public School and West Oaks French Immersion Public School. Officials say a recent case and with numerous close contacts is causing issues at Woodland Heights PS and recent suspected cases and previous cases at West Oaks French Immersion have sparked operational challenges.
Woodland Heights and West Oaks French Immersion will also switch to online learning today and hopefully resume in-person classes on January 3rd, 2022.
