K2K Productions is getting ready for two youth theatre productions; Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and Disney's Newsies Junior.
WOODSTOCK - Two new shows are coming to the K2K Productions rooster.
The theatre program gives children and young adults aged 7 to18 the chance to learn and explore the arts.
Artistic Director Brain Belleth explains that the shows are split into two age groups.
"Our youngest group is aged 7-11, and then our senior group is aged 12-19."
The first show will be Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, presented by the 7 to 11 year-old group. The older group will be doing Disney's Newsies Junior.
Belleth says there is also a big interest in behind-the-scenes jobs.
"There are students who are interested in sound, lights, building sets, and all that as well, so we have help for all the roles of the show."
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory will debut on April 21st, while Newsies Junior will hit the stage next month Tickets for both shows can be purchased online here.
Belleth stopped by the Heart FM studio to chat with Cody and Marcie on Tuesday April 4th and you can listen to the full interview below:
