OPP have released the identity of a motorcycle driver who lost their life in a crash on Saturday on Hwy#2.
UPDATE - 06/23/2020: Police have identified the victim of the crash as 46 year old Mark Doiron of Woodstock. The investigation is ongoing.
UPDATE - 06/22/2020: OPP have released few details but say, there is one fatality as a result of this crash. The victim has not been identified.
MIDDLESEX COUNTY - Middlesex OPP responded to a two-vehicle collision earlier tonight on Highway 2 (Dundas Street) between London and Thamesford.
They responded to the incident tonight after 8 o'clock. Police say a motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after they collided with a pickup truck.
Highway 2 between Purple Hill Road and Heritage Road is closed for the investigation.
Drivers are encouraged to take an alternate route to avoid the scene.
