Police say this morning's dense fog may have led to a serious crash on Highway 59. A car heading west on County Road 33 was struck in the intersection at Highway 59 by a pick-up truck at around 8 this morning. Two young women in the car, 22 and 21-years-old had to be extricated from their wreckage by Hickson and Innerkip fire departments. Both were transfered onto London's Victoria Hospital with serious injuries. A 32-year-old man, and 62-year-old woman in the truck were not seriously hurt. Highway 59 was closed for several hours for investigation and clean-up.
