United Way Oxford is looking to help people find more mental health help.
Through the 12 Days of Giving, money raised will be going to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
Manager of CMHA Thames Valley, Sarah Aalbers says the holiday season can be tough for many people.
"Having those clinics available through the holidays is really important. We have them open on Mondays, Tuesday, and Saturdays, so really just reach out and see when you can book an appointment for yourself," says Aalbers.
The Canadian Mental Health Association Thames Valley has physical walk-in clinics as well as over the phone appointments.
"Offering it via telephone is even more important. As a senior, you may be isolated, you may be stuck in your home and not able to get out. Having that telephone appointment is really increasing accessibility for that mental health and addiciton support."
There are physical walk-in clinics in Ingersoll, Tillsonburg and Woodstock, but you can be anywhere in Oxford County and use the over the phone service.
