Police say a 42-year-old headbutted a Woodstock Police officer Friday morning.
WOODSTOCK - A 42-year-old man has been charged with assaulting a Woodstock Police officer.
This comes after a vehicle was pulled over for driving under suspension Friday morning.
Police say the man, who was a passenger in the vehicle, got out to confront the officer and then proceeded to headbutt them. The officer was taken to hospital with minor injuries and the man was arrested on the spot.
The arresting officer found a small amount of amount of methamphetamine on him, so he was also charged with drug possession as well.
The woman who was driving the vehicle was charged with driving while under suspension.
