The Woodstock Navy Vets are looking for a fresh start heading into the Niagara Jr C West Division playoffs. The Vets are hosting the 3rd place Paris Mounties in the first game of round one playoffs. Game time is 7:45 pm at the Southwood Arena. Tonight is also "Municipal Services Night" where all City of Woodstock employees will be admitted into the game free or charge. After a rough season on the ice and a few management/coaching changes, the Vets are looking to come in to the playoffs with a new start. The Norwich Merchants and New Hamburg Firebirds who finished in the top two spots of the West Division have a bye for the first round. The Tavistock Braves could win the first round of the playoffs after a 4-3 victory in Burford last night. The Braves host the Bulldogs in game six of the best-of-seven series tonight at the Tavistock and District Rec Centre. Puck drops at 7:30 pm.
