Alexandra Hartstone is the new Director/Curator of the Woodstock Art Gallery.
WOODSTOCK - There's a new face in charge of the Woodstock Art Gallery (WAG).
In a post on social media yesterday, Alexandra Hartstone was introduced as the new Director/Curator of the facility.
It said she brings over 10 years of experience to the table, most recently serving as the Director Curator of the Grimsby Public Art Gallery. She has also worked with the McMichael Canadian Art Collection and the Art Gallery of Guelph in the past.
The WAG says Hartstone is committed to providing accessible, community-driven arts programming and she also believes that regional art spaces are at the heart of Canada’s cultural landscape.
Hartstone is taking over for Mary Reid, who served as the Director/Curator of the WAG for just over a decade.
