WOODSTOCK - The walking trails in Woodstock are closed right now because of minor flooding and icy conditions.
Director of Parks and Recreation Brian Connors.
"Right now the Burgess and Standard Tube trails are closed and the Youth Start trails are closed and these trails are closed because of the amount of flooding that has taken place and in some areas they have very icy conditions."
Connors says signage has been posted advising the public the trails are closed and the hope is they will re-open soon.
"It shouldn't last for to long, it has happened this year and last year where we had big events for flooding, some years it is a lot less and some years we get away with it not happening but it usually happens once or twice every Spring."
Southside Park is also in rough shape right now and a couple of the lower roads at Southside are closed because of flooding.
