Oxford County is replacing the watermain that's located at the pedestrian bridge at the south end of Hall Street in Ingersoll.
INGERSOLL - You should stay away from the pedestrian bridge at the south end of Hall Street in Ingersoll.
Construction crews will get to work today replacing a watermain in the area.
The work should finish by Friday September 6th (weather permitting) and the area will be closed to traffic in the meantime.
Pedestrians are being advised to be cautious in the area, especially parents and caregivers with young children. No one should be anywhere near the construction equipment, especially a young child.
County officials say homeowners in the area could also be affected by this construction project because local driveways could be blocked at times while the work is being done. Those who receive a notice in the mail will be advised to park outside of the construction limits, on Canterbury Street to the South Side of Hall’s Creek.
