According to Environment Canada, today's weather conditions may be favourable for the development of funnel clouds.
A weather advisory has been issued for the counties of Oxford, Perth, Brant and Middlesex.
Environment Canada says today's weather conditions will be favourable for the development of funnel clouds.
These funnel clouds are generated by a weak rotation under rapidly growing clouds or weak thunderstorms. They're not usually a danger near ground, but there is a chance they could become stronger and become a weak landspout tornado.
Any funnel cloud sighting should be taken seriously, so make sure you take shelter if you do spot one.
We might also be in for scattered thunderstorms this afternoon, bringing dime sized hail and strong winds.
