Extreme heat and wildfire smoke in the area has caused alerts issued by Environment Canada in Oxford County.
OXFORD COUNTY - Oxford County is under a pair of weather statements.
The first is a heat warning as daytime highs will be at 29 to 32 degrees and hotter with the humidity until Thursday.
Environment Canada has also issued a special weather statement for the area. Wildfires in Northern Ontario is causing smoke, which is moving in and around Oxford County.
This is causing the air quality to deteriorate, and could stick around until tomorrow.
