Lawyers are demanding that police hand over everything they know about two more crimes Elizabeth Wettlaufer may have committed in Woodstock and London.
WOODSTOCK - New developments today in the Elizabeth Wettlaufer saga.
The CBC is reporting that the lawyers representing Ontario nursing home patients are demanding that police hand over everything they know about two more crimes that the serial killer may have committed. The Ontario Association of Residents Council has filed a legal application aimed at forcing the OPP, Woodstock Police and London Police to hand over evidence. All three police agencies worked together on this case.
The new alleged crimes happened in London in 2014 when Wettlaufer apparently injected a 77 year old patient with insulin at the Meadow Park care facility in London. The other attack was at the Caressant Care in Woodstock where Wettlaufer allegedly tried to smother another victim.
Wettlaufer is currently serving concurrent life sentences after she pleaded guilty to 8 counts of murder at two locations in Woodstock and London.
