With the recent air quality, the Woodstock Fire Department is taking the time to remind residents about open-air burns.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Fire Department is warning residents.
There is a reminder that any resident in the City needs a permit for open-air burning, and there are rules to follow. With the current air quality warning in effect from Environment Canada, all open-air burn permits can not be used. This is a rule under the bylaw, and it is enforced to make sure the community remains healthy and safe.
If you would like more information regarding how to get permits or the penalties associated with breaking the by-laws, you can click here and find all you need to know.
