OXFORD COUNTY - Some people are heading back to work today, while others have an extended Easter long weekend. In Canada whether you return to work today depends on what your job is as well as in consideration with COVID-19 guidelines.
Banks are open for the most part today, as are Beer Stores, grocery stores, pharmacies as well as Service Ontario offices that were not otherwise shut down due to COVID-19. Most businesses will continue to operate with reduced hours amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Canada Post collection and delivery services are closed today, however, privately owned postal outlets may be open. Garbage and recycling collection will not happen today.
The Province of Ontario announced last week leading up to the Easter weekend that essential workers would get a much deserved break. Premier Doug Ford ordered all stores to be closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
