White House Says Vaccinated Canadians Can Cross Land Borders November 8th

Non-essential land border travelers will need to show proof of vaccination.

Good news for Canadians hoping to drive to the U.S.

Several media outlets are reporting tourists will be able to cross the land borders for non-essential reasons effective November 8th.

Travelers will need to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

As well, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is working on details such as which exemptions might be allowed and what constitutes acceptable proof.

For international air travel, vaccines approved by the World Health Organization and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration will be accepted.

Officials expect that to also be the case at land borders.

However, it's still not clear if people who received mixed doses will be allowed in.
