Strong winds could damage trees, homes, and make driving conditions treacherous
Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for both Oxford and Brant Counties.
West winds could be gusting up to 100 km/h as a brisk cold front sweeps across southern Ontario and parts of north eastern Ontario. It should be moving on towards the GTA around noon.
Those powerful gusts could cause tree damage, especially in trees that still have leaves left, and minor house damage might also occur.
Drivers are being reminded to be extra cautious on the roads as the sudden gusts and wet pavement could make driving conditions treacherous.
Update: Wind warning has lifted (10:31)
