It was a cooler month in June for the Woodstock Ingersoll Tillsonburg & Area Association of Realtors.
OXFORD COUNTY - Woodstock Ingersoll Tillsonburg & Area Association of Realtors (WITAAR) have released their numbers for June 2025
According to the statistics, WITAAR sold 154 houses in June. This is a 12 per-cent decrease from June 2024.
WITAAR President Cassandra Benard, had this to say about the slowdown.
"After months of steady momentum, our local market showed signs of cooling in June."
There were 335 new residential listings on the market at the end of June, which is a reduction of 5.6% per-cent compared to last year at this time.
Benard says everything is beginning to even out in real estate.
"As a result, overall inventory continued to climb, sitting well above the historical averages for this time of year. Consequently, we are starting to see a shift into more balanced market conditions."
According to the WITAAR report, the cost of housing decreased 5.8 per cent to $643,879 a unit.
