He went from being a cadet to officer and didn't look back. Captain Bill Green was awarded for being the Commanding Officer at the Army Cadet Corps in Woodstock for 4 terms. But after over 30 years with the program, Green passes on his title. "Captain Melissa Symons is taking over as Commanding Officer. She's excellent. She was in as a cadet then joined as an officer. I have absolute confidence in her," said Green. Symons has been in the program for many years. She has had great experience thus far taking part in activities from glacier trekking in Quebec to dog sledding in Algonquin Park.
