Mayor Jerry Acchione says there were positives and negatives.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock City Council will have a lot of topics to cover at their next meeting.
One area of discussion will be the new asset management survey that was filled out by residents.
Mayor, Jerry Acchione says there were positives and negatives.
"The positives were people loved parks. They loved Cowan Fields, the Sports Plex and everything else. The part I was a little surprised with is the very first question, do you believe you receive good value for your tax dollars? And it was very split, it was 49 and 51 for yes, no."
Acchione speaks to an area of the survey that caught his eye.
"The average time people have been here, 24.3 years of living here in the city. So, that was a really interesting fact."
He says that it will be interesting to dive into the results further as they got the numbers over the weekend.
Council will meet on Thursday, September 21st at 7 p.m. You can attend in person or watch the live stream on the City of Woodstock website.
