Jack Wilford, Len Raper, and John Sibley have been added to the Canadian Fallen Firefighters Memorial.
OTTAWA - Three members of the Woodstock Fire Department (WFD) have been added to the Canadian Fallen Firefighters Memorial in Ottawa.
Several firefighters were honoured during a special ceremony on Sunday, including Jack Wilford, Len Raper, and John Sibley.
Robert Bertrand and Lukaz Kasprzyk from the (WFD) were in attendance, after participating in the Celtic Fire Memorial Ride from Hamilton to Ottawa over the weekend. Seventy-five firefighters participated in the ride this year and raised over $119,000 for the Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
