London police have laid charges after a Woodstock man assaulted an officer.
LONDON - A Woodstock man is facing charges after an assault in London.
On Wednesday at 9:35 p.m. the man was being escorted off a property in the downtown core by security due to intoxication. He began swearing and yelling, and that is when London Police attended the scene and the man swung at one of the officers and resisted arrest.
He was eventually taken into custody and now faces charges of assaulting a Peace Officer and resisting arrest.
