A 39-year-old Woodstock man is facing drug and weapons charges after he was found passed out behind the wheel of his car in the early hours of the morning. Among the charges include possession of fentanyl with a street value of $27,000.
WOODSTOCK - One Woodstock man is facing multiple charges after police recieved a call just before 4 o'clock this morning and found him passed out behind the wheel of his car.
Police say the car was found in a parking lot at a business on Vansittart Avenue.
39-year-old Ryan Dona was arrested and charged with the following offences:
• Unauthorized possession of a weapon
• Possession of weapon for a dangerous purpose
• Operation of a vehicle while Impaired
• Failure to comply with a release order
• Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – namely fentanyl
The fentanyl has a street value of $27,000.
Dona was held in custody and he will appear in provincial court at a later date.
