Population growth in Canada and Ontario is outpacing Woodstock and the rest of Oxford County. New numbers from the 2011 census have been released today, showing Woodstock with the highest rate of population increase in the County, at 5.4 per cent. However, that's slightly behind the national average of 5.9 per cent. Ontario's was 5.7%. The rest of Oxford County grew at a much slower rate: Ingersoll and Tillsonburg grew at a 3.3 and 3.2 per cent since 2006. South-West-Oxford, Zorra and East Zorra Tavistock actually lost more people than gained in the last 5-years.
