Woodstock Police assisted in an investigation involving stolen cars. Wednesday night, officers were in the parking lot of the Galaxy Theatre in Brantford, where they made an arrest. A 19-year-old Oshweeken man was apprehended after a brief struggle, and after police say he attempted to discard some break-in tools. The vehicle he was driving turned out to be stolen from the Hamilton area. The investigation is part of a project called "Team Shutdown", involving police from Woodstock, Brantford, Halton, Six Nations and the OPP.
