Woodstock Police Briefs

Briefs include a phone 911 call about a man with a gun at the Woodstock hospital, stolen catalytic converters and vehicle entries.

WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police were called to the hospital on Wednesday just after midnight about a man with a gun. 

The 911 call said a man was brandishing a weapon trying to get into the hospital. When police followed up with the 911 caller, he admitted that it was a prank. 

A 33 year old man from London was arrested and charged with public mischief.

WOODSTOCK - Three catalytic converters were stolen sometime this week in the area of Keyes Drive in Woodstock. 

The Woodstock Police Service would like to encourage anyone having information about this investigation to contact the Woodstock Police Service at 519-537-2323 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police are warning the public about a number of vehicle entries on Athlone Avenue. 

Three vehicles on the street were entered yesterday. This resulted in one side window being smashed to gain access, a punched ignition and the theft of two tool boxes.
