Multiple impaired driving charges have been laid by Woodstock Police.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police caught an impaired driver.
Officers responded to a house on Friday at 10:45 a.m. on Nellis Street regarding a dispute. Police were advised that a man had left the area before the officers arrived, however, he returned while police were still on scene.
A 38-year-old Woodstock resident was charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs
WOODSTOCK - A Woodstock man is in trouble with Police.
This past Sunday just before 2 a.m. a Woodstock Police officer pulled over a vehicle after observing a driver run a red light in the area of Dundas Street and Wellington Street.
A roadside sobriety test was done, and the driver was charged. The 47-year-old Woodstock man is facing charges of operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus.
WOODSTOCK - A 33-year-old has is now facing 2 charges.
This is after his vehicle was spotted driving erratically in a business parking lot on Huron Street in Woodstock on Sunday morning. A member of the Woodstock Police was on patrol, and was able to locate the vehicle.
The driver refused multiple opportunities to provide a breath sample.
As a result, the driver was charged with operation while impaired and possession of a schedule I substance as Police also found a small amount of cocaine.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police charged a 43-year-old man after responding to reports of an erratic driver.
Officers were called out to the Pavey Street and Fyfe Avenue area on Sunday night.
They charged the driver of the vehicle with operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs, operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80,
While in custody, the accused threw an object at police which resulted in 2 additional charges.
His blood alcohol concentration was more than twice the legal limit.
