WOODSTOCK - A 20 year-old man from Burgessville has been charged with break and enter
Woodstock Police responded to the incident on Wellington Street just after midnight on Monday.
The unknown man broke a window and tried to get inside the home. A woman inside the home was woken up from the noise and confronted the suspect.
The man cooperated and waited for the police to arrive.

WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police are looking for a man who attempted to break into a home on Champlain Street, causing damage to a front door.
The incident happened on Monday at 8:30am. The homeowner was home during the incident and scared the suspect off who then fled north on Champlain.
Officers and K9 Unit responded immediately and the Forensic Identification Unit assisted with the investigation.
Police are asking for any witnesses who may have seen the suspect to provide more information

WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police responded to multiple incidents regarding stolen wallets.
Police received a report of a theft of wallets from inside the employee room at a restaurant at Norwich Avenue.
According to police, the suspect went into an employee room on March 3rd before noon and stole wallets and cash. Upon leaving the store, the man tossed the wallets and kept the cash. The suspect was captured on video.
The same man entered a second business on Huron Street just after 10:00pm that night and entered the employee room, stealing an iPhone that belonged to an employee. The suspect left the store and staff contacted police.
Police found the suspect just minutes later walking on Dundas Street and he was arrested. He matched the description of the man from the theft that was reported earlier in the day.
The man was charged with three counts of theft of under $5000.00, and several counts of breach of probation. He was held for a bail hearing.
