Woodstock Police Briefs

Briefs include a stolen motorcycle, arrest made in storage facility break in and a couple from Woodstock facing drug trafficking charges.

WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police are investigating after a motorcycle was stolen from the area of Norwich Ave near Juliana Drive. 

The 2021 Suzuki GSXR 750 bike was taken on Friday morning around 7:10. The suspect was described as a white man driving a black Jeep SUV pulling a small flatbed trailer. 

Woodstock Police Service would like to encourage anyone with information to contact them at 519-537-2323 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

WOODSTOCK - Two men were arrested for trying to break into a storage facility on Bysham Park Drive.

The security company notified police of the two men trying to break in around 3:35 am on Sunday. Officers arrested the first suspect on Lansdown Avenue. Police were notified that the security company was still getting notifications of movement within the compound. Police returned, located and arrested a second male.

A 27 year old man and a 46 year old man, both from Woodstock were charged with Break, Enter a Place with Intent to Commit Indictable Offence. The 27-year-old was also charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

WOODSTOCK - Woodstock police arrested a man and a woman for drug trafficking on Sunday afternoon. 

Officers were called to Oxford Street South after getting reports of people getting high in a vehicle. When police arrived, they arrested the woman on an outstanding warrant. 

Further investigation led officers to charged the 34 year old woman and 34 year old man, both of Woodstock with the following: 

- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine

- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Hydromorphone

- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl

- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
